Property project finance by Matter is an award-winning RIBA Chartered Practice, based in London, with a passion and reputation for designing buildings and places that positively benefit people’s lives.
We work across all building types and scales, for both private and public clients, including: housing, commercial, community and education projects, infrastructure/bridges, public realm and masterplans. Our projects have won many international and national awards and been widely published. We work collaboratively with our clients, leading projects through real-world complexities to create places that are sensitive to context, enduring and sustainable. We challenge presumptions to turn constraints into opportunities, and always look to achieve more with less. Directors Jonathan McDowell and Roland Karthaus are active in publicly promoting design excellence: through design review panels, assessing competitions/awards, speaking, and widely-published research.
