Peter Huf, the award winning chief architect for HUF HAUS UK, is committed to pushing boundaries in design, innovation and technology to shape a new understanding of how we can engage with our designed spaces.
Peter originally apprenticed as a carpenter before training at the Fachhochschule Koblenz, earning his Architectural Diploma, followed by his Masters in Architecture  at the University of Buffalo in New York state. In the US, he had the opportunity to work with numerous architects before returning to Germany where he worked with Manfred Adams, the architect responsible for the original HUF HAUS design 50 years ago.

In 1999, Peter came to the UK with his family to promote and develop the HUF concept of custom designed, sustainable, modular houses. Since then, his houses have won numerous awards and been featured in national newspapers, magazines and on various television programs, including Grand Designs. To date, over 230 HUF houses have been built in the UK, each one Peter has uniquely designed for the client and the plot.
Now a UK citizen with a vested interest in this country, Peter is passionate about supporting innovative design, environmental sustainability, and the enormous potential of well-build modular homes.
